    Please refer to a very important maintenance announcement that may have an impact on hosting services:

    Power Maintenance – September 19th, 2024

    Services Affected: Chicago, Illinois Data Center
    Start Date: September 19th, 2024 @ 9 AM ET
    Estimated End Date: September 19th, 2024 @ 6 PM ET

    Summary: SBA Edge will be performing minor equipment repairs to two (2) of the four (4) 1.6MW UPS systems. IT loads and peripheral systems are protected by (4) 2MW Caterpillar diesel engines. SBA engineering and necessary support personnel will be on-site.

    Impact on Customer: There is no expected interruption to service; however, transferring systems creates inherent risk. As a result, we have decided to notify our customers for transparency.

    Summary: We will be performing maintenance to address an ongoing communication issue between this hypervisor and our infrastructure panel.

    Impact on Customer: VMs hosted on CHI-P-VPS-2 will encounter a brief downtime as we conduct this maintenance.     Network Maintenance – July 5th, 2024

    Services Affected: Chicago, Illinois Data Center
    Start Date: July 5th, 2024 @ 12 AM ET
    Estimated End Date: July 5th, 2024 @ 5 AM ET

    Summary: We will be conducting an upgrade on a single dark fiber connection between our facility at 603 Discovery Drive in West Chicago and 350 East Cermak Road in downtown Chicago.

    Impact on Customer: There is no expected interruption to service as redundant dark fiber connections will remain online and operational; however, there may be a temporary slowdown and/or increase in latency. As a result, we have decided to notify our customers for transparency.
